Poppy Jane is looking for a full-time Sales Associate to join our Sarasota storefront team. Our team members play a key role in driving sales, building relationships with customers, and helping bring the Poppy Jane brand to life in store.

This is a hands-on role. While assisting customers on the sales floor is the primary focus, all team members are actively involved in the day-to-day operations that keep the boutique running smoothly. Please read the job requirements & descriptions below and apply by submitting the form below.


Position Details:

  • Hourly position: 30-40 per week

  • Weekend availability required.

  • Weekend shifts may be rotating or consistent based on availability



Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Customer Service Experience & Sales

  • Provide exceptional, personalized service to every customer

  • Build genuine relationships and create a welcoming, positive in-store environment

  • Assist customers with styling, sizing, and outfit recommendations

  • Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals

  • Process transactions accurately using our POS system

Store Operations

  • Assist with daily store upkeep to maintain Poppy Jane’s elevated brand presentation

  • Help receive new inventory, including unboxing, inspecting, tagging, and preparing merchandise

  • Restock and merchandise the sales floor to keep displays full and visually appealing

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures

Team Contribution

  • Work collaboratively with the team to support all areas of the store

  • Take initiative and help wherever needed throughout the day

  • Represent the Poppy Jane brand in a professional and positive way

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Outgoing, friendly, and confident interacting with customers

  • Sales-motivated and driven to contribute to store success

  • Detail-oriented and dependable

  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • A team player with a positive attitude

  • Comfortable using iPads and basic technology

  • Has basic math skills

  • Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience preferred

    • Must be available weekends and some holidays
